At the heart of Munchkin Joy Happiness Daycare Center is Gena, the founder, and lead teacher. With years of experience and a warm heart, Gena creates an environment where every child feels loved and supported.
As a medical professional and educator fluent in English and Bulgarian, Gena brings a unique blend of expertise and care to the center. After living and working in the United States for over 11 years, she returned to Bulgaria to establish Munchkin Joy Happiness Daycare Center in 2019.
Gena’s mission is to ensure proper physical development for children while fostering a nurturing, fun, and educational environment. Using techniques like suggestopedia, she promotes holistic learning, helping children aged 1.5 to 4.5 years old acquire essential skills that set the stage for lifelong success.

We operate as a private childcare center dedicated to providing a warm, home-like environment for children. While we’re not a licensed kindergarten, we focus on personalized care and engaging activities that help children thrive in a supportive setting.
Our monthly fees remain consistent and straightforward:
Full-day program: 950 BGN/month.
Half-day program: 600 BGN/month.
We welcome children from 1 year and 4 months up to 4 years old. Whether your child is ready to be around others or not quite ready for kindergarten, we’d love to have them join our nurturing community.
